About GFG
GFG stands for Great Fishing Gear. We are a company in Osaka that designs and sells electronics for anglers. Our first product is the Battle Fish Pro repeater display for Garmin chartplotters.
Why Battle Fish Pro
A modern Garmin shows a lot: charts, down imaging, side imaging, live sonar. But it is usually bolted to one spot on the boat. When you fish from the bow you either buy a second Garmin or keep looking back.
Battle Fish Pro is our answer. It is a large screen that repeats the Garmin picture through the ports the unit already has. One Garmin, two places to read it.
How we work
01
We make one display in three sizes and test it on the Garmin models we list. If a model is not on the list, we do not claim it works.
02
You talk to the people who know the product. Questions about wiring, mounting or shipping go to the same office in Osaka.
03
Two years of warranty, then paid repairs for as long as we can fix the unit. A display on a boat should last many seasons.
Less waste
GFG is committed to protecting the natural environment by eliminating unnecessary materials and using recycled materials.
We fish on the same lakes and coasts as our customers. Lighter packaging and recycled materials are a small, practical part of keeping them clean.
